Bernd has significant experience in advising clients on EU and international Competition Law. His practice focuses on  merger control proceedings in the European Commission, the German competition authority and coordination of merger control proceedings worldwide as well as on representing clients in cartel investigations and leniency applications, advising on dominance issues and litigating cases in German and the European courts. His expertise covers the automotive, food, retail, energy, healthcare and waste management sectors. Bernd was the global sector leader for retail and is currently the global sector leader for automotive. He teaches EU Competition law at the University of Frankfurt/Main (Germany). Bernd is currently serving as Managing Partner for Brussels and Antwerp.
