Linklaters LLP is an international law firm practising in a number of jurisdictions worldwide. The firm is subject to the rules of various professional regulatory bodies, according to the jurisdiction in which each of its offices is located. The firm's lawyers are subject to the rules of the relevant professional regulatory body with which they are admitted and/or registered.

A limited liability partnership (LLP) is a body corporate and is therefore a legal entity separate from its members. As a separate legal entity, subject to certain qualifications, an LLP is fully liable in contract and tort for the acts and defaults of its members and employees. However, an LLP may limit its liability by agreement to the extent permissible under, and subject to compliance with, applicable laws or regulations.
