Linklaters has advised Beacon Capital Partners, an America-based real estate investment fund, on the sale of the company owning the Europe Avenue real estate complex, located at Bois- Colombes in Hauts-de-Seine, France to a joint venture set up between Insurance group Generali and Groupe Credit Agricole's Predica for around €400 million.
The Europe Avenue real estate complex, completed in 2009, comprises some 65,000 sq.m of office space across five buildings. Holding the High Environmental Quality Construction label (HQE), the real estate complex is fully let to IBM France and companies belonging to the GDF Suez group.
The Linklaters team involved on this transaction was lead by Real Estate Partner Françoise Maigrot, assisted by Sylvain Canard-Volland and Irène Cottaris. Linklaters has advised Beacon Capital Partners in 2006 on the purchase, financing, construction, letting until the sale in 2011.
