Linklaters appoints bank regulatory partner in New York office this year

Leading global law firm Linklaters LLP announces that Robin Maxwell, a leading U.S. bank regulatory lawyer, will join the firm as a partner in its New York office.

Robin joins Linklaters’ Financial Regulation Group, which represents a range of investment and commercial banks, investment managers, trading platforms and exchanges world-wide.

Robin has extensive experience advising financial institutions on regulatory matters and in domestic and cross-border bank mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic combinations.

Most recently, Robin was a partner and head of Goodwin Procter’s New York Financial Services practice. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Robin spent a number of years at Davis Polk & Wardwell where she represented U.S. and international banks in a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions and bank regulatory matters.

Robin is Linklaters’ third major partner hire in New York this year following the appointment of Dan Dufner as a Corporate/M&A partner and Lew Steinberg as Co-Head of the U.S. Practice and Head of the U.S. Tax Practice.
