The ThyssenKrupp group has sold ThyssenKrupp Industrieservice GmbH, Düsseldorf, to WISAG with economic effect as of 1 October 2009. ThyssenKrupp Industrieservice GmbH with currently more than 12,500 full-time and part-time employees and a turnover in excess of €300 million specialises in the provision of staff-intensive services to manufacturing companies in the automotive and automotive supplier industries, the basic metals industries, the mechanical and plant engineering industries as well as the food, paper and printing industries.
WISAG already works for the manufacturing industry through WISAG Gebäude- und Industrieservice and WISAG Elektrotechnik. With the buy-in of the ThyssenKrupp subsidiary, the company extends its service portfolio by production-specific services.
