The international law firm Linklaters LLP has advised Commerzbank AG on the securitisation of a portfolio of loans in an aggregate amount of approx. €1.6 billion. The loans were mainly granted to small and medium-sized enterprises and are partly secured. For the securitisation the refinancing register of Commerzbank was used.
The Linklaters team led by Dr Kurt Dittrich and Dr Burkhard Rinne (both structured finance, Frankfurt) provided comprehensive advice to Commerzbank on this transaction.
The team also included Dr Thomas Prüm, Dr Friso Heukamp, Andreas Schmidt (all structured finance, Frankfurt), Dr Jörg Fried, Adriana zur Nedden (both structured finance, Berlin) as well as Florian Lechner and Stephan Krampe (both tax, Frankfurt).
