Linklaters announces new partner elections and counsel appointments

Linklaters announces the election of 14 new partners and the appointment of 21 counsel, together with the election of 11 national partners to equity. The promotions take effect on 1 May 2010.

David Cheyne, Linklaters’ senior partner, said:

The 14 new partners represent ten practices across each of the firm’s three divisions; seven have been promoted from the role of counsel. The new partners are:

The counsel appointments, which cover ten practices and twelve offices this year, recognise the major contribution made by senior lawyers with significant technical expertise who take on additional practice, client, know-how or team management responsibilities, alongside partners in their groups.
