Linklaters announces winner of Economic Analysis Award at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium

Leading global law firm Linklaters is delighted to announce that the College of Europe’s Linklaters Award for economic analysis of European Law has been awarded to Lauren O’Brien. The competition is open to all law students at the Bruges and Natolin campuses, who were invited to submit a paper dealing with a topic related to an economic analysis of European law.

Lauren, an Irish law student from the Bruges campus, won the award with her paper titled “Selective distribution of luxury goods and the internet: an economic and legal analysis”. The award  was handed over by Thomas Franchoo of Linklaters’ competition practice in Brussels. The prize is a three-month internship in Linklaters’ competition practice.

Linklaters is pleased to be sponsoring the College of Europe’s Economic Analysis Award, since providing world-class knowledge and learning is one of the firm’s strategic priorities.
