Linklaters named as IFLR India’s International Firm of the Year

Linklaters has been named as the IFLR (International Financial Law Review) International Firm of the Year for India.
In addition, Linklaters won four deals of the year awards and two awards for ‘team of the year’ in the international restructuring and project finance categories. Together with its best friends firm in India, Talwar, Thakore and Associates (TT&A), the firm won ‘Equity Deal of the Year’ for the Standard Chartered IDR (Indian Depositary Receipts) listing, the first ever listing in India by a foreign company. TT&A were the Indian legal counsel on the deal. This was a transaction of enormous significance and was possible only because of the imagination and creativity shown by various market participants, including the regulators.
