Borja Fernandez de Troconiz is appointed partner in Linklaters’ Madrid Dispute resolution practice

Linklaters has appointed Borja Fernandez de Troconiz as a partner in the firm’s Madrid Dispute Resolution Practice.
Borja joins from Allen & Overy and is expected to join Linklaters in December.
Before joining Allen & Overy, Borja was the head of the legal department at Barclays Bank in Spain between 2005 and 2007. He started his career working for the Spanish government after having qualified as a government lawyer (Abogado del Estado).
As an Abogado del Estado, Borja belongs to a prestigious group of lawyers. He has worked with banks and financial institutions, energy, infrastructure and telecoms. His experience comprises bank litigation, commercial disputes, international arbitration, insolvency, and white-collar crime.
