Prudential Regulation Tracker
Updated to December 2012: A Snapshot of Structural Reform in the European Bank Sector – see this separate briefing note for a quick overview of recent developments.
This Prudential Regulation Tracker covers key developments in the international drive to increase the resilience and transparency of the financial system.

For easy reference we have gathered together in one place the many new rules and proposals for reform issued at global and EU levels. We also cover a number of separate jurisdictions, including the US and various countries in Europe and Asia. We summarise the key features of these initiatives and indicate when they take effect. Links to original source materials are provided, as well as some more detailed briefing notes.
To help explain the development of certain proposals, we include high level legislative process summaries for the US and EU and an overview of the Basel Committee.
The date at the top of each section of the Prudential Regulation Tracker indicates when the information was last updated.
To discuss any of these issues, please speak to your usual Linklaters contact or see our list of contacts.
The Prudential Regulation Tracker microsite was formerly known as the International Reform of Financial Regulation microsite.
