Amendments have been made to the Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules to reflect the implementation of the Companies Act 2006.
The changes are to update statutory references. For example, the reference to Section 95 of the Companies Act 1985 in Listing Rule 9.3.12 (requirement to make a pre-emptive offer does not apply if statutory pre-emption rights have been disapplied) is now a reference to Sections 570 and 571 of the 2006 Act.
