    The Financial Reporting Council will be producing a report on how the UK Corporate Governance Code and Stewardship Code are working by the end of 2011.
  • FRRP publishes its findings on reports and accounts
    The Financial Reporting Review Panel has published its findings from its review of accounts relating to financial years ended between December 2009 and September 2010.
  • ABI releases new remuneration guidelines
    The ABI has released its new Remuneration Guidelines.
  • ABI highlights best practice on diversity, succession planning and board evaluation
    The ABI has published its first report on board effectiveness following a review of the annual reports of FTSE 350 companies.
  • Guidance for directors on risk management
    The Institute of Risk Management has published guidance for directors and senior executives on how to address its risk obligation under the UK Corporate Governance Code.
  • EU proposals for financial transaction tax
    The European Commission has published a proposal for an EU financial transactions tax.
  • Charges created by overseas companies: new regime on 1 October 2011
    The requirement that overseas companies with a registered UK establishment register at Companies House certain charges over UK property has been abolished.
  • FTSE UK Index Series - new "restricted free float" definitions
    On 20 September 2011, FTSE published amended ground rules for the FTSE UK Index Series. The changes had immediate effect.
