Community Investment, France, ADIE (Association pour le Droit a l'Initiative Economique)
This organisation specialises in microfinance, giving loans to French people who are excluded from economic activity, and helping them to become bankable in the mainstream financial sector. ADIE provide an intensive support programme to ensure a high survival rate among these business start-ups. Our volunteers answer legal questions, via a legal hotline, from those whom ADIE assists in setting up their own business. Volunteers in Paris also provide ADIE advisers with legal training.
