Linklaters is the first and only law firm to hold the prestigious CommunityMark accreditation for its UK activities. Awarded by Business in the Community and endorsed by HRH The Prince of Wales, this award recognises the extent to which a company's community investment activity is aligned to its business, ensuring that support is delivered to maximum effect. To achieve the award, Linklaters had to pass a rigorous, independent assessment by Business in the Community of how the firm invests in, and works with, its local communities, including scrutiny by its employees and community partners. Companies are assessed according to five principles of community investment through a process validated externally by AD Little and an independent panel made up of the third, public and private sectors.
