Every year our staff are encouraged to run the Paris 20km race to raise money for a charity and the firm then doubles the money raised by the staff. The race this year took place on 11 October and some 45 runners in magenta t-shirts ran for Linklaters and our chosen charity, L'Envol. L'Envol accommodates seriously ill children, from France and other European countries, in a centre fully equipped to provide medical care whilst allowing the children to benefit from leisure activities in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest. These holidays are, for them, a chance to take a break from the hospital, to be together with other children and to be able to take part in various leisure activities.
