Participle is a social enterprise which focuses on transforming public services in the UK by designing practical and affordable solutions to social issues such as chronic disease and social isolation. We have drafted, negotiated and advised on a project agreement between Southwark Council and Southwark Circle, a social enterprise project which is being created to provide a neighbourly network to help people with practical jobs around the house and social activities. Most older people want relationships that keep them active and give them opportunities to contribute, not necessarily day care centres that cut them off.
