We recognise the continued importance of raising, as well as maintaining, awareness of risk-related issues across the firm. In October 2008, our Risk team held a Risk Awareness Week in our London office. The week’s events allowed people to meet the Risk team informally as well as to attend drop-in surgeries and training sessions on topics such as anti-money laundering, conflicts and confidentiality, engagement terms, terms of business and information security. We are currently working towards implementing training more systematically over the coming months.
