We are working with an organisation, VluchtelingenWerk Netherlands, who represent the interests of refugees and asylum seekers in The Netherlands, volunteers offer help with the Dutch language and teaching/guiding the Vluchtelingen about the various unique aspects of Dutch life/culture. The Vluchtelingen follow a formal course with a syllabus at a school, and we also assist with any difficulties they may have with the syllabus. Linklaters arranged a sports and activity day for Linklaters staff and refugees in the Amsterdam area which took place on 20 May 2009 in the Rembrandtpark. All the participants had fun and winning teams received medals and trophies.
