We continue to support our clients in meeting the challenges, and seizing the opportunities, presented by volatile global markets. Many of these challenges require new ways of thinking, underpinned by Linklaters’ legal expertise.
One of our primary responsibilities, both to our clients and our long-term success, is delivering an outstanding and consistent service to our clients wherever they operate. We know that it is not enough simply to provide high-quality advice; how we deliver that advice is also critical. Over the last two years, we have implemented a “matter practices review”; a formal quality review process to assess what lessons can be learned from completed pieces of work and to identify best practice which can be shared throughout the firm for the benefit of all our clients. The findings have been instrumental in our developing a set of Best Practice Standards, which we are using to support the firm’s training programmes. We plan to continue the review process to make sure we are meeting the high standards we set ourselves.
Our partners regularly discuss outstanding work and issues with our clients to maintain a mutual understanding of pressure points and deadlines. This helps us to manage our work for them in the best interests of people working on all sides, for example, by staffing matters responsibly to get the job done on a round-the-clock or on a “follow-the-sun” basis, if necessary.
To help clients anticipate future challenges, we produce a range of tailored briefings which we make available on our website at: http://www.linklaters.com/Publications/Pages/Index.aspx
