Aymar specialises in restructurings and rescues, in particular those outside formal insolvency proceedings but under the control of the President of the Commercial Court, who has power of jurisdiction (Mandat ad hoc – Conciliation). He advises all types of stakeholders of companies facing financial difficulties (management, shareholders or creditors) during the negotiation of schemes of arrangement, standstill agreements and balance sheet restructurings. He also acts for purchasers of assets, businesses or shares of debtor companies as well as for major French banks in their key litigation matters, mostly inside insolvency proceedings. Aymar is currently involved in the safeguard procedure of Eurotunnel, as part of the team acting for the ad hoc committee of creditors representing a majority of the co-financiers debt on the Eurotunnel project. Aymar has been a member of the Paris Bar since 1988 and a partner at Linklaters since May 2006.
