Recent transactions and matters of significance where his substantial involvement can be disclosed include advising:
- Allied Irish Banks on the sale of their 70.36 per cent shareholding in the listed Polish Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. to Banco Santander S.A.
- on the corporate merger of Santander Consumer Bank S.A. with AIG Bank Polska S.A. The merger followed a joint venture entered into by Santander and AIG in June 2010
- Bombardier Transportation GmbH in relation to the purchase from PKP S.A., the Polish state-owned national railway company, of the remaining stake amounting to 60% of the shares in Bombardier Transportation (ZWUS) Polska Sp. z o.o., a joint venture between Bombardier Transportation GmbH and PKP S.A.
- Industry Funds Management Pty Ltd on the acquisition of the largest private portfolio of district heating networks in Poland, owned by Veolia Environnement's arm Dalkia International
- Tarmac Group (owned by Anglo American plc) on the sale of Tarmac’s aggregate businesses in the Czech Republic, France, Germany and Poland to Eurovia and on the sale of its pavers businesses in Poland (Libet and Libet 2000) to Innova, a Polish private equity house
- BP on its intragroup multijurisctional merger of certain downstream businesses of BP involving German, Polish, Belgian, Dutch and Austrian operations leading to the establishment (conversion) of Deutsche BP AG into the legal form of a European Company
- Advising on the reorganisation of PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., the Polish national grid company, and in particular on the unbundling of the transmission system operator’s activities from other areas of business of PGE including energy wholesale supply.
