Experience
Nick is a corporate lawyer and his main areas of practice include general corporate advisory work, M&A (public and private), joint ventures and primary and secondary securities offerings.
Nick is currently based in Dubai and has spent significant periods working in our Singapore, Moscow and London offices. His particular strength is in international M&A, and in the last five years in the UAE he has done deals in India, CEE, Australia and Malaysia in addition to the region.
Transactions of note include:
- Advising DP World on their USD1.8bn infrastructure JV/Disposal with Citi Infrastructure Fund (2011).
- Ernst & Young on the reorganisation of their Middle Eastern business (2010-2011).
- IPIC on the Euro5bn takeover of CEPSA in Spain (2011).
- Turk Telekom on the acquisition of Invitel International in Hungary (2010).
- Kingdom Hotels on their Nasdaq Dubai takeover/take private (2010 IFLR M&A deal of the year).
- RBS on the first ever bank asset disposal in the UAE to ADCB (2010).
