Experience
Olga is a partner in Linklaters’ Banking Practice, focusing on asset and structured finance. Qualified both in the US and in the UK, Olga has spent several years practising in New York, working on a variety of finance transactions, with a particular focus on US cross-border asset finance. Since 2000 Olga has been London-based, focusing on a variety of asset finance and structured finance work. Recent transactions include advising Standard Chartered Bank on a series of structured lease-financing transactions of a number of vessels for three Asian carriers; advising The Royal Bank of Scotland on several ship financings in the off shore sector, regularly advising Barclays Bank PLC on structured financing transactions; advising airlines on a variety of aircraft and engine financings; advising Lehman Brothers, HVB and Fortis on the financing of the acquisition of Dockwise B.V. (the marine heavy cargo carrier). In addition to her asset finance and structured finance practices, Olga also advises banks and financial institutions in the area of Islamic finance.
