Stuart co-heads the mainstream banking practice. He acts on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, representing both lenders and borrowers. His experience includes acquisition finance, syndicated and bilateral banking facilities, loans to funds, margin loans and other secured and structured financings. Recent experience includes advising on $6bn revolving credit facilities for Rio Tinto, €6bn facilities for ArcelorMittal advising in connection with the banking aspects of Middle Eastern telecoms company. Zain’s $10.8bn disposal of its African telecoms business to Bharti Airtel, liquidity facilities for EuroCCP, various financings for the Vodafone group, together with refinancing amendments and reorganisations of various other financing arrangements.
