Linklaters advises EIC Fund on its equity investment in Siléane
Linklaters has advised EIC Fund (European Innovation Council Fund) on its equity investment in Siléane.
The Siléane group, a leading player in the robotics market, specialises in the design, manufacture and maintenance of special machines combining robotics, vision and artificial intelligence technologies to automate the handling of objects in random or unknown. This operation allows the pool of investors led by the France Nuclear Fund, managed by Siparex, to support the strong growth of the Siléane group.
Established in June 2020, the EIC Fund is a breakthrough initiative of the European Commission to make direct equity and quasi-equity investments (between €500,000 and €15m) in European high impact and deep tech start-ups and scale ups.
Since its creation, Linklaters has advised EIC Fund on more than twenty investments in European startups, including CorWave, Aledia, Sileane, Xenothera, Antofénol, Novolyze, XSun, Rosi, Minuendo, Hiber, EpiEndo Pharmaceuticals, NIL Technology, Trisol Medical et Kahun Medical.
