Overview
April is a senior associate in Linklaters’ New York office and a member of the Energy & Infrastructure practice. She advises project sponsors, developers, private investment funds, financial institutions and other project participants on the development, financing, acquisition and disposition of a broad range of domestic and cross-border energy and infrastructure projects, with a focus on renewables and the energy transition.
Work highlights:
April has advised clients on a wide range of complex international transactions. She has recently advised, among others:
- sponsors of an 85 MW hydroelectric plant and transmission line in Perú in a project financing;
- lender in a financial restructuring related to a corporate spin-off of a commercial agricultural producer in Perú;
- sponsors in international and domestic biomass-related transactions of an 600,000-metric ton pellet mill in Arkansas, U.S.A. (ongoing);
- sponsors in connection with the bridge and long-term financing of four wind farms in Argentina (ongoing).
Education and qualifications
April studied history and philosophy at Covenant College and received her Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
