Overview

Gauthier is an associate based in Brussels. He focuses on real estate law, corporate law, business law and litigation. He is involved in real estate transactions and advises both Belgian and international clients. Prior to joining our Belgian real estate practice group in 2021, Gauthier worked at a Belgian business law firm since 2017.

Work highlights

Gauthier has advised on a wide range of real estate transactions. These include advising:

  • A chemical multinational on the acquisition of its new headquarters located in Brussels.
  • La Française Real Estate Managers on the divestment of a group of companies owning two office buildings (HQ to Engie Electrabel).
  • CBRE Investment Management in the context of a joint venture with a real estate developer specialized in logistic buildings, including the subsequent acquisition of special purpose vehicles owning one or more logistic assets.

Education and qualifications

Gauthier holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université Saint-Louis (Brussels) and a Master of Laws from Université Catholique de Louvain (Uclouvain). Gauthier also holds a bachelor of Economics and Management from Université Saint-Louis (Brussels) and a Master of Science in Business Administration from KU Leuven.
