Overview

Amélie joined the Corporate M&A practice of Linklaters Luxembourg in June 2018 and became Managing Associate in 2024.

She advises international clients on corporate matters focusing on private equity and merger and acquisitions transactions, including structuring, co-investments, joint ventures, reorganisations and management incentive schemes.

In 2020, she was seconded to Apollo Global Management Inc for six months, where she provided support to the Luxembourg team on corporate matters.

Work highlights:
  •  Centerbridge Partners, L.P., Advent International Corporation and other financial investors: advising on the setting up of a joint venture carrying out a successful voluntary public takeover offer to acquire approx. 90% of the share capital and voting rights of Aareal Bank AG and subsequent delisting.
  • DigitalBridge Investments, LLC: advising on the completion of its Investment Partnership with a consortium of investors led by MEAG and Infranity along with funds affiliated with the investment management platform of DigitalBridge Group, Inc.
  • PAI Partners: advising on the structuring and financing of the investment of PAI Partners in Areas, a Spanish food, beverage and travel retailer.
  • Nestlé: advising on the structuring and financing of the co-investment between Nestlé and PAI Partners in European Pizza Group, a German producer and retailer of frozen pizzas.

Education and qualifications

Amélie holds a Master’s degree in law, with a focus on Company Law from University of Louvain-la-Neuve, and a LL.M. degree in International Business Law, from University of Ghent, in Belgium.

She is registered to the Luxembourg bar.

She is fluent in French and English.
