Environment, Active involvement
Since 2007, we have celebrated World Environment Day in June every year. All our offices were involved and supported our “People and Nature” themed global photography competition. A total of 250 of our people entered 464 photos and 1,200 people went on to vote for these photos and complete a Firm Facts and Forest Quiz. Our winning photographer, Anita Chan, came from our Hong Kong office, taking her inspiration from the relationship between nature and agriculture.
Activities which some of our offices also ran included:

a paper-saving competition and a Lamma Forest tree planting event in Hong Kong

a seasonal and locally-sourced meal on the menu in the Brussels staff restaurant

a local photography competition in Paris and Brussels

an environment quiz and vegetarian cookbook giveaway as part of a range of events launching launched the Stockholm office’s 2011 environmental theme “Earth”

a family bike ride in Powsin Park in Warsaw

a Transport for London Cycle Challenge day, a farmers’ market and an environment day in the restaurant in London
