People, New York, Cultural Dexterity Training
In collaboration with our client, PricewaterhouseCoopers, the New York office has held office-wide workshops addressing how we need to develop cultural dexterity to build relationships effectively with our colleagues and clients in New York and around the world. The workshops were developed over several months in close co-operation with PwC to ensure that the sessions were closely tailored to Linklaters’ vision, strategy and values. In total, over 200 people attended the sessions. Each session contained a cross-section of partners, associates and business services employees, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
Participants commented:
“It was fascinating and well worth the time. The presenter was excellent, and made me think about diversity in a much broader way than I had been thinking about before.” – Caird Forbes-Cockell, Partner, Capital Markets
“I thought the diversity training today was great, probably the best one of these I’ve participated in. I would imagine that it will help people challenge their own preconceived notions; I know it certainly did that for me.” – Bob Bell, Associate, Litigation
