Manav Chopra

Manav represents fund sponsors and investors regarding the formation and operation of domestic and international private investment funds across diverse strategies. He provides advice regarding all aspects of the fundraising process, including preparing offering and governing documents, forming onshore and offshore investment structures and negotiating with investors.

Manav also has experience with institutional investors and regularly advises clients on market terms of investment funds. Additionally, Manav advises fund sponsors on day-to-day operational, regulatory and compliance matters, and deals regularly with issues relating to the Securities Act, the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act.

Manav has represented a diverse group of asset managers and institutional investors, including, among others: AIG Asset Management, Ardian, Citibank, DuPont Capital Management, KKR, J.P. Morgan, and Morgan Stanley.

Manav holds a Juris Doctor from the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where he served as a member of the Moot Court Board. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.
