Linklaters named Asia’s most innovative firm for its approach to diversity and talent management

Jelita Pandjaitan and Laure de Panafieu named as best female lawyers in Asia for dispute resolution and employment and labour law respectively

Karen Lam named as a rising star in finance

Linklaters has been named as ‘Most Innovative Firm’ at the Euromoney Asia Women In Business Law Awards, held in Hong Kong on 11 November 2015.  The award recognises the firm that best demonstrates an innovative approach to diversity and talent management.  The judges noted Linklaters' attention to cultural differences when designing its gender initiatives.

In addition, two Linklaters lawyers - Jelita Pandjaitan and Laure de Panafieu – were named as leaders in their fields.  Jelita Pandjaitan, Linklaters dispute resolution partner based in Singapore, won ‘Best in Dispute Resolution’ and Laure de Panafieu, Asia head of employment and incentives, also based in Singapore, won ‘Best in Employment and Labour Law’.

A third Linklaters lawyer, Karen Lam, a capital markets counsel based in Hong Kong, was named as a ‘Rising Star in Finance.’

Now in its fifth year, the awards celebrate the advancement of women in the legal profession, the achievements of law firms setting the standard in female-friendly work practises, and women leading the field in the legal sector across Asia. 

In total Linklaters was shortlisted in 14 categories, including six individual nominations and received more awards than any other firm on the night.  You can view the full winners list and photographs online.
