Linklaters advises on City of London’s Tallest Building
The City of London yesterday resolved to grant planning permission for what is to be the City of London’s tallest building – 1 Undershaft.
Linklaters has advised on all aspects of the successful planning application for Singapore-based developers Aroland Holdings.
The tower will be built on the site of the former Aviva Tower and will stand at 304.6m made up of 73 stories. It has been designed by leading architect Eric Parry and will comprise 90,000 sq.m., including 2005 sq.m. of shops at ground and lower ground floors. Aroland are in discussions with the Museum of London about curating the viewing platform, education centre and restaurant at the top of the tower.
