As head of the firm’s real estate practice in Warsaw, Artur is widely acknowledged as a leading practitioner of real estate law. He advises investors, developers, financiers, asset managers, power and distribution companies on large-scale, cross-border and domestic real estate, corporate and project finance transactions.

Artur has extensive advisory and transactional experience on all aspects of negotiating, structuring and implementing various forms of real estate joint ventures, funds and investment transactions, as well as on development of top-end commercial real estate deals, including in the office, retail, industrial and leisure sectors. His expertise also covers high-profile and complex infrastructure projects (such as motorways and stadiums) and renewable energy schemes.

Artur has particular skill in handling administrative proceedings, including advising on all matters relating to development and construction permits, zoning and environmental issues.

Work highlights

Artur has led on many of the market’s most significant real estate deals. Highlights include advising:

  • Nrep: advising on the acquisition of an 80% stake in 7R, one of Poland’s largest logistics developers. Nrep invested approximately €200m into the company.
  • Chariot Top Group: advising on the €1bn acquisition of a portfolio of twenty-eight retail assets including nine M1 shopping centres in Poland, from funds managed by Ares Management L.P., AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets and Apollo Rida.
  • Echo Investment: advising on the €273m sale of the Q22 office building in Warsaw to Invesco Real Estate.
  • W. P. Carey: advising on its €180m acquisition and subsequent sale and leaseback of a portfolio of eighteen stores in Poland.
  • Griffin Capital Partners and Redefine: advising on the €200m acquisition of logistics properties located in Poland via European Logistic Investment, a company owned by Redefine Properties and companies controlled by Griffin Capital Partners' partners.
  • Niam: advising on the sale of Silesia Business Park A and B in Katowice to Philippine investor, ISOC Group.

Education and qualifications

Artur studied law at the University of Warsaw.

He speaks Polish and English.
