Experience
Mary Matson specialises in acting for arrangers, originators and trustees in the securitisation of various Asian assets, including residential mortgages, commercial property, consumer loan receivables, loan (both performing and non-performing) receivables, credit card receivables and trade-related debt receivables in Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and other parts of Asia.
Mary was a partner at a rival firm in Hong Kong prior to joining Linklaters as a consultant in the role of Head of Securitisation in Hong Kong within our structured finance and derivatives group . She has significant experience in the acquisition and disposal of financial assets and other general banking areas, including project financing, asset finance transactions and bilateral and syndicated financings.
