Overview

Nandy is an associate in the General Practice group of Linklaters’ New York office. She has experience working with clients on a variety of cross-border corporate and finance transactions, including the representation of clients involved in public and private mergers and acquisitions, fund finance and acquisition finance and other types of cross-border banking deals. She also has experience representing clients in the formation and structuring of private funds.

Work highlights:
Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited in financing its acquisition of Shire plc, for approximately US$62 billion.

Linde AG in the restructuring, carve-out and divestiture of its industrial gases business in North America and certain business activities in South America to Messer Group GmbH for approximately US$3.3 billion.

Professional experience

Nandy worked in Banking and Finance for five years before starting law school at Cornell. She began her career in Audit at KPMG Trinidad and Tobago. After that she worked as a Credit Analyst with a commercial bank, and then as a Financial Analyst at EY Trinidad and Tobago.

She is an active member of the Securities Regulation Committee, Banking Law Committee and Diversity Committee of the New York State Bar Association.

She is also Co-Chair of the Linklaters Black Affinity Network of the Americas group.
