Linklaters strengthens SEA disputes offering

Linklaters strengthens Southeast Asia disputes offering with the relocation of Hong Kong partner Jelita Pandjaitan to Singapore. The move will build upon the firm’s existing regional disputes offering in Southeast Asia, by providing an on-the-ground presence to better support the firm’s clients in their dispute resolution needs, in particular, in connection with investigations, arbitrations and financial distress situations.

Singapore is the second hub for Linklaters’ disputes practice in Asia and Jelita’s relocation underlines the firm’s strategy of extending its coverage to support the growth strategies of its clients.

Melvin Sng, Asia head of Linklaters’ disputes practice, said:

The relocation of a partner of Jelita’s experience helps our Asia disputes practice to be perfectly placed to further realise the significant opportunities for the firm in Singapore and Southeast Asia more broadly.”

He then added:

Our disputes practice has been active in Southeast Asia for many years and Jelita’s move to our Singapore office will further strengthen, integrate and build upon this.”
