Linklaters announces the expansion of its Banking department in Paris with the appointment of Rhéa Christophilopoulos

A member of the Paris Bar since 2003, Rhéa Christophilopoulos has been a counsel since 2012. She is highly experienced in Banking and especially in acquisition and investment grade financing, including LBOs, real estate financing, debt refinancing and project financing. She acts as a counsel for banks, financial sponsors and lenders.

She recently advised BUT in the context of its refinancing by way of issuance of high yield notes, Ardian in the context of the Vinci Park’s acquisition financing and BNP Paribas on the refinancing of Futures Energies Investissements, GDF SUEZ’s subsidiary, in the context of the sale by GDF SUEZ of a portion of its shares.

Rhéa is a French and Greek national and she is trilingual in French, Greek and English. She holds a master's degree in business law (2000), a DESS in European business law (2001) and a DEA in business law (2002) from Université Paris II – Panthéon Assas. She has authored or co-authored several publications, including: “P-to-P transactions financing” (in La Lettre du Private Equity published by Option Finance) and an article on cash pooling agreements (in La Revue Banque).
