Celebrating 25 years in Singapore – new partners and continued growth

Since 1992, Singapore has been Linklaters’ hub for SE Asia and as we celebrate this landmark year we are pleased to say the office continues to go from strength to strength.

From 1 May 2017 we are delighted to announce the promotion of Counsels Laure de Panafieu and Parthiv Rishi to the partnership. Laure has successfully led the Employment and Incentives team in Asia for the last three years and will continue to do so, supported by a strong team across the region. Parthiv is an M&A and private equity specialist and has advised clients across Asia and Europe on all forms of M&A including acquisitions, joint ventures, exits and restructurings.

We are also pleased to announce the arrival of partners Jonathan Horan and Niranjan Arasaratnam to the Singapore office. Jonathan is a leading capital markets partner and is relocating from our Hong Kong office to lead the regional capital markets practice alongside U.S. partner, Hyung Ahn. Niranjan joins us from our Australian alliance firm Allens, where he headed the firm’s corporate practice as well as led the firm's Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) sector. Niranjan will co-head the firm’s global TMT Sector and will work alongside Adrian Fisher (already based in Singapore) to build on the significant inroads the team in Asia has made in recent years. His joining us is another example of the strength and close working relationship of our strategic alliance with Allens.

Managing Partner of the Singapore office, Christopher Bradley added: “The fact we are able to mark our 25th year in Singapore with the announcement of four new partners is a testament not only to the hard work of our people, but most importantly, the continued support of our clients in Singapore. We are fortunate to have established strong and lasting relationships with clients and the community in Singapore of which we are very proud and very grateful. As Singapore continues to forge ahead as one of the world’s most important business and financial centres, we look toward to continuing to support our clients on their most strategic and important matters, wherever they do business.”
