Overview

Laurie is an Investment Funds Senior Managing Associate in the Luxembourg office. She focuses on alternative investment funds and their asset managers, including alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs), and advises on all key regulatory aspects of their activities.

She counsels international clients on the structuring, set up, organization and ongoing operation of investment vehicles across private equity, real estate, venture capital, private debt and infrastructure asset classes, for both regulated and unregulated fund structures. Laurie also has deep experience in acquisition structures linked to investment funds, corporate finance and cross border transactions.

Her practice includes advising on the formation of joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and mergers and acquisitions involving fund platforms and portfolio structures. She employs the firm’s AI tools in her daily work to streamline document review and drafting as well as in order to deliver efficient, more focused solutions for clients.

Before joining Linklaters in January 2023, Laurie worked at a Manhattan based law firm and a reputable Luxembourgish law firm, focusing on private equity and real estate, which complements her European funds and corporate background.

Laurie is admitted to the Paris and Luxembourg bars.

Beyond the Office
