Carmen advises on all aspects of EU and German competition law, including merger control, antitrust compliance issues and litigation before the EU courts. Her experience extends to business sectors such as banking, manufacturing and automotive.

Professional experience

Before joining Linklaters, Carmen was a trainee at the German Embassy to the EU, the Brussels office of Hengeler Mueller and at DG Competition.

Carmen’s publications include:

Education and qualifications

Carmen studied law as an undergraduate at the universities of Freiburg, Geneva and Humboldt University Berlin and holds an LL.M. from Columbia University as well as a Ph.D. in European Contract Law from Humboldt University Berlin.

She works in German, English and French.
