Conrado Vanden Berghe

Conrado joined Linklaters Luxembourg in February 2022 after gaining extensive professional experience in different asset management companies, Alternative Investment Managers and law firms in Luxembourg and abroad.

Conrado has extensive knowledge of the European Funds Industry and in dealing with Liquid (UCITS) and Illiquid (AIFs) investment vehicles across a wide range of asset classes (private equity, real estate, debt, infrastructure, hedge, transferable securities). He obtained in-depth experience of advising clients on all aspects of investment funds including on the structuring and documentation of UCITS, AIFs carried interest, segregated mandates and co-investment schemes.

He specialised himself in advising asset managers to deal with new regulatory framework, fund structuration and international distribution matters for both professional and retail investors. He also has expertise in fund listing as well as in the marketing of funds, financial services and negotiation of key strategic partnerships.

Conrado holds a Master 2 in Juriste d'Affaires Internationales and Juriste en Droit de l’Union Européenne from the University of Rennes I (France) as well as a Master Degree in Droit International des Affaires from the University Panthéon-Sorbonne Paris I (France).

He is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.
