Ja Hyeon focuses her practice on legal requirements related to the Bank Holding Company Act and the Volcker Rule. Ja Hyeon has worked on a wide range of cross-border transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings, fund formations, and loans and other financings. During law school, Ja Hyeon was a legal intern for the international investments and asset management regulatory law teams of a top ten global asset manager.
Ja Hyeon’s experience includes advising on Bank Holding Company Act and Volcker Rule requirements in connection with numerous investor commitments to private equity funds, U.S. resolution stay requirements for qualified financial contracts and regulatory capital and liquidity requirements under Basel III, as well as long-term debt and TLAC requirements.
