Specialised experience in national and international litigation and arbitration (ICC, DIS, and Ad Hoc Arbitration), with a focus on complex commercial and corporate litigation and contractual disputes.

Transactions of significance where substantial involvement can be disclosed have included:

  • advising the Federal Republic of Germany in arbitration proceedings for enforcement of damages and contractual penalties against the Toll Collect Consortium in connection with the delay in putting the HGV toll system into operation
  • advising a German energy supply company in the enforcement of claims from an energy supply agreement with industrial customers
  • advising a leading global photovoltaic company in several contractual disputes
  • advising a US operator of an industrial park in the enforcement of contractual claims against 45 customers (ICC, DIS, ordinary courts)
  • advising a leading global US bank in damages dispute
