Overview

Mairi is a Managing Professional Support Lawyer (PSL) based in our Brussels office. She has over 12 years of experience advising on a broad range of complex EU competition law matters. Mairi is an in-house technical expert on procedural and substantive issues concerning EU merger control and antitrust law.

She crafts knowhow and training for Linklaters’ global competition lawyers to ensure that the team is always on top of the latest developments and changes in practice. She writes and edits many of our client alerts and provides commentary on a wide range of topics for our clients. Mairi is actively engaged in assisting clients with knowledge and learning.

Professional experience

Mairi qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales in 2006 and spent almost five years in practice at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Brussels before joining Linklaters as a competition PSL in 2011. Mairi was promoted to Managing PSL in 2013.

She is a member of the E list of the Brussels bar.

Mairi speaks English and German.

Education and qualifications

Mairi read law at the University of Glasgow and the Freie Universität Berlin. She has a Post-Graduate Diploma with Distinction in EU Competition Law from King’s College London.
