Nina advises clients on German and European employment law. She has managed and coordinated several cross-border employment projects, including business transfers and restructurings. In particular, Nina has extensive experience in handling management issues (hiring and termination). She assists several global companies in their day-to-day HR issues, such as hiring and termination as well as negotiations with the works council and other employee representations.

Recent transactions include advising:

  • Morgan Stanley, Fortress Investment, Rio Tinto and Service.Now on their day-to-day HR issues and employment matters, including dismissals, hiring and remuneration questions
  • The Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy on the employment law related aspects of the lawsuit before the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf in connection with the Ministerial permission on the merger of Edeka and Kaiser’s/Tengelmann
  • Just East plc with respect to employment and pensions related issues connection with the purchase of Hungryhouse Holdings Limited
  • Genting Hong Kong Limited on selected employment law issues in the aftermath to the purchase of several shipyards of the Lloyd Werft Group as well as of the Nordic Yards Group
  • Power Construction Corporation of China on the acquisition of the previously belonging to Siemens AG traditional TLT-Turbo GmbH (TLT)
  • Eden Springs GmbH on the acquisition of the European HOD-Business of Nestlé Water S.A.S.
  • Novartis AG on the sale of the Flu Vaccine Business to CSL Limited
