Overview

Tomasz is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat). He has over 9 years’ experience in providing comprehensive legal advice to Polish and foreign entities in major real estate transactions in Poland and in the CEE region. He advises on investment and construction processes, as well as on sales and purchases of shopping centres, industrial buildings and offices. Tomasz’s particular focus is on structured portfolio transactions.

Work highlights

Tomasz’s recent highlights include advising:

  • Chariot Top Group on the €1bn acquisition of a portfolio of 28 retail assets including nine M1 shopping centres in Poland, from funds managed by Ares Management L.P., AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets and Apollo Rida, including the subsequent re-sale of part of the portfolio to EPP at €700m
  • Resi4Rent on the acquisition of several residential rental apartment buildings from Echo Investment for the purposes of long-term rental, some of which have been constructed in a forward funding structure, and several on-going projects are being constructed under a DMA with Echo Investment acting as the development manager
  • Bain Capital Credit, a leading global credit specialist with almost USD 41bn in assets under management, on a €550m joint venture agreement with Corestate, a leading independent investment manager for real estate in Europe
  • Globalworth on the €113m acquisition of two office complexes - Retro Office and Silesia Star in Wrocław and Katowice
  • Globalworth on the €190m acquisition of the Skylight and Lumen office buildings located in Warsaw from Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield
  • CBRE Global Investors’ fund on the acquisition of a 450,000 sqm logistics portfolio owned by Hillwood Europe (the European arm of the US based development company), comprising several logistics parks in Poland and Germany, both yielding and under development

  • CBRE Global Investors on the acquisition of four warehouse facilities “7R Beskid Park" with a total area of 57,499 sqm in Bielsko-Biała
  • Hines on the €102m acquisition of the Wola Centre office building in Poland from Develia (previously known as LC Corp)

Education and qualifications

Tomasz studied law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.

Tomasz is a Polish qualified lawyer (adwokat).
