Linklaters are back as Friends of Fintech sponsors at the world’s largest platform for the global Fintech community - ‘Singapore Fintech Fest 2018’.
According to the organisers, this year’s 2018 Singapore FinTech Festival will be bigger, better and jammed packed with even more exciting activities. As the world’s largest platform for the global FinTech community, Singapore FinTech Festival 2018 runs from 12-16 November and will feature a series of events including a FinTech Conference & Exhibition, Global FinTech Hackcelerator Demo Day, AI in Finance Summit, FinTech Awards, Innovation Lab Crawl, Workshops, and an expanded Investor Summit comprising of “FinTech Deal Day”

FLIP Lab Crawl – “Blockchain and DLT”
The Future Law Innovation Programme (FLIP) will host visitors in its Legal Innovation Lab @ Collision 8 . Based on this year’s SFF conference themes, they’ve identified three topics that are pertinent to both legal and financial worlds: 1) Blockchain and distributed ledger technology, 2) Cybersecurity and 3) RegTech
Jonathan Horan, Capital Markets partner and Blockchain specialist, will be giving his thoughts as a panelist for the Blockchain and distributed ledger technology stream.

Seminar: “The Blockchain journey: From beginning to…Where?”
Blockchain technology made its debut in the form of Bitcoin, but its use cases have been touted to extend far beyond the world of cryptocurrency. Its proliferation has also caught the attention of regulators and lawmakers around the world. But, is blockchain technology here to stay?
