By using the Skill, you signify your agreement to these Terms.
- Applicability of the Skill
The Skill defines pension-specific terms for you on request and reflects the law as at the date of publication. Linklaters shall have no duties in relation to the maintenance and updating of the Skill, although may choose to do so from time to time if certain definitions are widely requested.
- No Attorney – Client Relationship
You acknowledge that, solely by reason of the use of the Skill, you are not a client of Linklaters and that no attorney-client relationship exists. Any data you input into the Skill will not be imputed to Linklaters.
- Exclusion of Liability
The contents of the Skill are intended to give legal information only. They do not constitute legal or other professional advice and you will not rely on the Skill as legal advice, either generally or in relation to any specific transaction. Linklaters shall not, to the fullest extent permitted by law, be liable for any loss, cost, claims and expenses whatsoever or damage (whether direct, indirect or consequential) however arising out of or in connection with your use of the Skill.
4.1 In performing its obligations under these Terms, Linklaters shall comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations from time to time in force.
4.2 These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by English Law.
4.3 The parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these Terms and that accordingly any proceedings arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be brought in such courts. Each of the parties irrevocably submits to the jurisdiction of such courts and waives any objection to proceedings in any such court on the ground of venue or on the ground that proceedings have been brought in an inconvenient forum.
